Welcome Party
Please join us on Friday, August 8th anytime between 6p-9p for a welcome party at the Chowder House in Boothbay Harbor. We’ll have a lobster bake and drinks! Dinner will be served in a staggered fashion, so you do not need to show up right at 6pm. All wedding attendees are invited!
Dresscode is dressy casual!

Location: Glidden Point Oyster Farm
Edgecomb Maine
Glidden Point Oyster Farm is located in Edgecomb, ME and is fifteen minutes outside of Boothbay Harbor. Glidden Point is a working oyster farm, for those guests arriving early the farm is open from 11-5pm daily and offers guided tours in the summer and fall! They primarily run as a shuck-it-yourself oyster place, which is a great opportunity to learn the skill and enjoy the freshest oysters there are!
Transportation
We have you covered!
We will be offering transportation from Boothbay Harbor to Glidden Point beginning at at 4:00 PM. Transport back to Boothbay Harbor will be at 10pm.

Please make sure to be on time. Buses will be loading promptly at 3:45 PM and will not be returning to Boothbay until after the wedding.
The venue does not allow you to drive yourself unless you will not be enjoying any alcoholic beverages. The roads are windy and dark and quite dangerous at night so please be safe and make a choice that is good for you and others!

Attire
Please wear comfortable cocktail or formal attire, but know that the ground is gravel, and there is a slight hill down to the ceremony that you’ll have to walk down/up, so be mindful of your shoe choice!
There will be a golf cart to help transport guests down to the ceremony site and back up for the reception as needed.
Food and Drink
We will be serving wood-fired family style food at our wedding with a variety of options for all dietary restrictions. Please note any dietary resrictions or allergies on the RSVP!
Safety
Given potential safety risks related to the venue being right on the water, our wedding will be 18+.
As noted in the transportation section, parking is limited on site and will be granted to only those not consuming alcoholic beverages.
After Party!
Want to keep the boogie going after the wedding? We have space reserved for our group at Mine Oyster where there will be a live funk cover band playing all night!
